In this third post on English Literature, I will share 3 useful tips in studying and understanding the key aspects of English Literature.

1. Memory work
You must read the textbook multiple times to understand the text. Subsequently, memorising important parts of your textbook is necessary. You should include prominent acts, scenes, chapters, quotes etc. which will allow you to refer and compare with other statements of the character or narration in the text.

The ‘O’ Level Series: Conquering English Literature (Part 2)

Continuing from my last post, I will be sharing on the format of the English Literature ‘O’ Levels exam and strategies I used for exams.

The exam consists of 2 papers: 2 questions must be answered in Paper 1 and 2 respectively. Each essay question is equal in weightage, at 25 marks.

As the ‘O’ Levels examinations get closer, it is vital for students to learn effectively. In this series, I will be sharing on strategies I used and challenges I faced as a student.
